Go into the sauna or steam room and pull your pud a couple of times. That's the universal signal of "I want some." You can also wait and watch for others to do the same, so you know it's safe. Be a bit discreet and you'll find that there are several guys waiting for some action. In the time I was there (4:00-6:00 PM on a Sunday) there were 4 guys looking for . I got blown in the sauna by a hot married guy.
Crowd: The crowd is a mix of guys, mostly under 40 and mostly hot. There are a few occasional trolls.
Facilities: It's a fairly decent gym with lots of equipment and relatively clean, well maintained facilities

From I-295 take exit #7 towards US-1A/FRANKLIN ST, make an immediate left at the bottom of the exit onto Marginal Way and Ballys is less than 1/10 of a mile on the Right (big electrified sign).
Cross street: Near corner of Franklin Arterial

    S-S 8:00-6:00 PM
    Best times: In the last few hours before closing, especially on weekends
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:The guys are very forward here. There was one dude stroking his meat in plain sight with a mixed crowd in the sauna. Once the straights leave it's open season. Lots of to be had there. The crowd fluctuates between the steam room and sauna, and will work it up in the gang showers too. One very hot college dude shot the wad right in the showers for all of us to see.
    Cruisiest Spots: Sauna, followed by the steam room.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:Yes
  • Warnings:There's an old guy who seems like he's just a normal straight guy but he sits in the sauna endlessly and when he's there no one will play.
    Warnings: Staff do walk through to check very occasionally but don't do much.

  • I've been in the sauna a couple of times lately and haven't seen any action. I was there today around 1:00 (I probably missed the lunch time crowd) and it was quiet, except for one cute guy and we checked each other out but that's about as far as it went. If anyone wants to meet me there, hit me up. I'm pretty flexible.

  • I just moved back to Portland from San Diego and I'm going to start working out here on a regular basis in the evening...is it still a good place to hook up?
