Weigh Station A19 Wingate

its the white road heading north next to the A19 slip road.

Come off A19 on to the A181 and head towads Durham (note: it's less than 1 min from the Slip road, on your right there's Castle Eden Garden Centre and the Public Wheigh Bridge between them is a road. During day there is a burger van here and Fri / Sat a Fruit and Veg Van. Follow road down towards Castle Eden Dene, past caravan park. As you get to the bottom of the bank there's parking.

• Cruising Info/ Tips:update 9/15/2008: The roadworks have nearly finished and it is possible to drive right down to the parking areas. No need to park up and walk down!
  
  The usual. Wait in car until someone turns up then off you go.
  Cruisiest Spots: Opposite were the car park is there is a cut into some bushes / also if you follow the path north after about 100 yds theres a path to your left, it's quite a big jump so the younger guys tend to hang there, if you walk down to stream you will find fun.
• Nudity / Policy:This place is cold in the winter as not much sunlight. lol

• Warnings:Can get muddy spring / winter.
  Warnings: None really. I've been using this spot for 3 years and had some really times there, however police wait in Weighbridge, but these are trafic cops; never a problem. The only thing to watch out for are wardens from the dene or local authority looking for people who dump rubbish.
