Travel north from Perth to Carnarvon via Brand Highway and North West Coastal Highway. Follow North West Coastal Highway out of Carnarvon heading north to the Minilya Bridge Roadhouse. Turn left to the Minilya-Exmouth Road. Approx 160km the turn off to Coral Bay. Total journey is about a 14 hour drive.
Once at Coral Bay to get to the nude beach, go north from the main town beach which is at the southern end of Bills Bay (Coral Bay). There is a rocky foreshort. Go past that and you will reach Skeleton Beach famous for the schooling of reef sharks in September. Skeleton beach is recognisable by the massive sand dunes behind it. Go past there and you will find the narrower beach that curves away gently to the left to the headland leading to Maud's Landing. The gently curving beach is the nude beach. Not sure if it is an official nude beach but all the locals call it the nude beach and there were nudies there on the day I went.
Cross street: Minilya - Exmouth Road

- Hours:Weather is good all year. Southerners escape there in winter (June-September)
- Cruising Info/ Tips:Look for guys lying on their towels where the beach meets the vegetation. The gaydar will tell you who is who.
The day I was there a MF couple were nude sunbaking. Further up the beach was a beautiful man that I had a mutual JO with while some female tourists wandered by goggle-eyed.
Having said that, not a lot of people go up this far on the beach so high likelihood of finding your own patch of beach relatively undisturbed.
Cruisiest Spots: Anywhere along the nude beach north of Skeleton Beach.
- Nudity / Policy:Yes / It may not be a legal nude beach. Nearest cops are at Exmouth, 100km away.
- Wheelchair Accessible:No
- Warnings:It is a long way to go to get there.
Warnings: Straights, females, and couples use the beach so be discrete. There is not a lot of cover and the vegetated sandhills I think are part of a national park.
