Follow Great North Road (west) one block. On the left you will see the Signs for the Museum and Tower Hill(George Street). Drive up the hill the Museum is on the Right, the Tower is straight ahead and there is parking all around. The gravel parking lot on the left is the best area for action, usually down around the back behind the treed area.
Cross street: Great North Road and George Street. And Forest Street and George Street ( Up past the old KFC Restaurant over the tracks on the right).
  • Crowd:Guys only.It's a male cruising area.
  • Hours:Spring, Summer, Fall.
    Daytime is hit and miss, Evenings and weekends are very busy. Summer being the most active season.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Just go and hang out. Guys, if they're interested will usually approach you. There are trails and picnic benches around too.
    Cruisiest Spots: The gravelled parking area across from the Tower and the Museum. It's private, and back from traffic. Guys usually sit in their cars or walk around the trails.
  • Nudity / Policy:All be it private, it's a public area, so nudity outside has it's risks.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Free area.
    Warnings: Be careful! Cruising is exciting for a reason, there can always be an element of danger. As with any cruising spot, common sense should practiced.

  • hey, best if you connect with someone first before you go cruising at the tower. the many times I have bene there, I have yet to connect unless I have made arragements to meet someone there before hand
