Le Bears' Den is a small bar/disco in the gayest area of Paris, Le Marais. There's a small bar on the ground floor, with a dance floor below in the basement. Between the ground floor and the basement is a mezannine floor and balcony, great for watching the shirtless bears dancing, but it's also the location for a small (and very busy!) darkroom. This place is fun if you fancy an evening of dancing and a few beers, whether or not you indulge in the pleasures of the darkroom. No entry charge, but it's expected that you will buy a drink before venturing downstairs.
Neighbourhood: Le Marais
Rue des Lombards runs between Rue Saint Martin and Boulevard de Sebastopol. Metro stations Chatelet and Hotel de Ville are within three or four minutes walk, Chatelet Les Halles and Rambuteau maybe five or six. Quite close to all the other gay bars in Le Marais.

- Directions:Rue des Lombards runs between Rue Saint Martin and Boulevard de Sebastopol. Metro stations Chatelet and Hotel de Ville are within three or four minutes walk, Chatelet Les Halles and Rambuteau maybe five or six. Quite close to all the other gay bars in Le Marais.
- Hours:Open 4pm to 2am Sunday to Thursday, 4pm to 4am Friday and Saturday. Best later in the evening if it's you're after, but it's a nice place to people-watch with a beer any time it's open.
- Cruising Info/ Tips:Take your own and lube, I didn't notice them being available here. There are two sets of stairs down to the basement and darkroom - one just by the entrance from the street, another at the back of the ground floor bar. The darkroom is on your right at the bottom of the stairs if you use the stairs at the back of the bar.
- Nudity / Policy:Topless is the norm on the dance floor downstairs. Full nudity unlikely except in the darkroom.
- Wheelchair Accessible:No / Not good - unfortunately like so many places in Paris, access for people with mobility problems is utterly useless. The entrance from the street is narrow and has at least one step, the staircases inside are steep, narrow, uneven and without good handrails, and the toilets are not accessible.
- Warnings:This is Paris - smoking is still permitted at the moment. :(
