Take the Dartmouth Road to Clennon Valley (Torbay Leisure Centre). On the opposite side of the road there's Quaywest Beach resort. Once at the entrance to the water park, head south along the promonade about 200 yards. Then you'll come across a building that houses the 'South Sands Cafe'. Just to the left of that is the entrance.

- Hours:Open from around Easter to late September, from around 9am to 5pm.
Best times: From around lunchtime til 4pm. Be aware though that this is one of the most popular beaches, in the area, if not the UK. I personally would avoid this during the peak of the summer on hot days as there will be plenty of people and families around. Best days would be on a warm spring or late summer day, when the place isn't too busy.
- Cruising Info/ Tips:Although there's a really good Gloryhole here, and has been since last summer, the local council has a habit of sealing them up, in fact I don't know of any others in the area now. So be although it's there at the moment, March 2007, it could disappear at any time. Just don't make it too obvious hanging around outside, the last thing we want to do is draw too much attention to this place.
Cruisiest Spots: There's four lock ups in total, but the two on the left are the best as they have a decent size Gloryhole between them, probably around 3" across. However there's a fair bit of clearance under the partitions to have a bit of fun under.
- Wheelchair Accessible:No / There are two steps in the entrance
- Warnings:Apart from the lock ups there's no where else in the immediate vicinity to move on to. You may be able to park your car on Dartmouth Road nearby, otherwise you'll have to use the council owned car parks.
Warnings: The toilets are cleaned around 2.30pm in the afternoon, usually by a female attendant. Also be aware there is a cafe right next door, although that is situated on a corner and they can't see you going in and out. However they may get suspicious if you're hanging round for too long.
