cruiser update 6/10/2009: they have now added bi and gay movies to the second theater...just walk behind the half wall where the straight movie is showing and go into to next one....and you can always ask the cashier to put in one special for you.


There is a nice video arcade with solid (no glass) locking doors, but most of the action takes place in the double theaters (price of admission is 4 bucks) - one of which is usually darkened with no movie showing providing a nice place for absolutely anything you want to get into. Otherwise, standing behind the half wall at the rear of the active theater will get you some play. Also, the place is fairly new, nice and clean, and has a clean men's room accessible directly from the theater.

cruiser update 1/21/08: As of this week, theater price still $4. No (only one bathroom ). Both theater rooms now have movies. Sad to say both are straight flicks; need one to be bi and/or gay.

There is only one main drag going through Pahrump, and the Adult Superstore's big blue 2 story building and sign is clearly visible from the main road. You can't miss the place.

  • Update!!! The theater is pretty cruisy, during the day and evening. You may think to yourself, that after midnight would be busy, this is not the case. "The graveyard person (Tuesday night thru Saturday night, he is sorta heavy set, with a ponytail and no smile) is the most rudest and obnoxious person that you would ever meet. Think of Roseann Barr, he is 10 times worst." Also, he will ask you to leave the building, so that he can take a bathroom break. I was told this by someone that goes there regularly. So I wanted to see if he was exagerating just a little. I visited one Saturday night; hoping it would be hopping, (most bookstores or theaters are usually hopping on the weekends after midnight. It was desserted, not even the store or the arcade had anyone. I paid my 4 bucks, and the movies that was showing was an extremely fat chick movie in theater 1 and a lesbian movie in theater 2. I went out to ask the guy if I could choose anothet movie, and also told him that those kind of movies do not interest me. He flat out told me "NO". The movies will not be changed until the morning person comes in. So I stayed anyway, (hey I had to get my 4 bucks worth, and I wanted to see if what everyone says about this person is true.) Sure enough, at about 2 or 3 am he turned on the lights in the theater and waited until I came out. He told me to leave the store, so that he can take a bathroom break. I left the store and he taped a hand written sign on the door saying "Look here STUPID" with arrows pointing to another saying "Be back in 15 minutes, gone to the bathroom." I waited the 15 minutes; which was really 35 minutes. Then asked to go back in the theater, he told me that I would have to pay again, because I left the building. Now I did not want to cause a scene, so I just left. I came back the next night, which was Sunday night 12:30 am; the guy behind the counter, good looking goth type!! Hubba Hubba!! was very cordial and cooperative. The movies were a good str8 film in #1 and a better gay film in #2, so I was satisfied by what was showing. Still it was dead as a door nail. I guess that graveyard person (the one with the pony tail) really gave a bad impression to a lot of the locals; no one goes there after midnight. I know that if I am in Pahrump and I only hope I am there for Sunday and Monday night, any other night I do not recommend going, unless you want to be treated like you are scum under his feet. I'll get off my soapbox now. I just had to write this because according to other people, this guy has been doing this for a long time, and no matter how many people complain, nothing happens.

  • Talk about this theater attracting the older set! They should offer free entrance to anyone over the age of 85 accompanied by their parents! When I visited last month, there were only retired people here, and I felt like some Spring chicken in that crowd. At last the film in the main theater was hot! This must also be one of the cheapest theaters in the world, good value at USD 4. The girl at reception was friendly and helful.
