River Walk and McConnel Park

At foot of Glover Cary bridge turn right onto Third Street, go one block west to Davies St. Turn right on Davies St and go north two blocks to Veterans Blvd. River Walk is straight ahead and extends three blocks west to the boat ramp at the foot of Frederica St. McConnell Park is one block further west of the boat ramp and adjacent to the Executive Inn Expo Center.
Cross street: Allen St and Veterans Blvd

• Crowd:All ages and a mix of couples and straights with bi's and gays.
• Hours:River Walk is open 24/7, I believe McConnell Park is as well but many wedding and special events are held there.
  Best times: After Dark is best time.
  Dates open: Year round
• Cruising Info/ Tips:Park along south side of street at River walk and flash tail lights to express interest. Leave windows open to chat with passersby. Or, you can take a walk along the river front and make eye contact.Take a walk to the back of McConnell Park near the riverfront and the shelter.
  Cruisiest Spots: River walk is the cruisiest
• Nudity / Policy:I seriously doubt that there is ever any nudity, very public. Other than the nudity on the river and that happens on every waterway.
• Wheelchair Accessible:No
• Warnings:Pretty well patrolled and you must be careful of undercover police.
  Warnings: Haven't heard of any trouble recently but a few years ago, the city decided to stop the cruising.
