The west side of the Central Experimantal Farm has treed areas and trails running along Fisher Ave from Carling to Baseline.
Crowd: Cyclists, joggers, pet owners.

Neighbourhood: Civic Hospital/Experimental Farm

Follow Island park Drive across Carling and into the Farm. There are trails between the park drive and Fisher.
Cross street: Fisher Ave/Tunis Ave
  • Crowd:Cyclists, joggers, pet owners.
  • Hours:Early morning there are cyclists and joggers, after 4:00 pm the field just east of Fisher and south of Carling is filled with dog owners. The trails that lead to Baseline are dark in the evening and prime for action.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:This area is not patrolled like most parks, aside from guys looking for action there are very few people around after dark.
    Cruisiest Spots: The trails that lead from National Capital Common Driveway along Fisher Ave to Baseline in the evenings around 10 to 11 pm.

  • Everyone be aware, last night I was going for a long walk (hadn't had time in this last week to go for a walk or jog) and decided to walk all around this area and the cops were in full force once they found a parked car without anyone in it. They started looking in every bush and little walk way. I got stopped and the light was on my face for WAY too long and they said stay away from this area cause they think there is a loose dog but when I heard on their radio as the cop lady was pulling away "I found the guy, you can stop now..." SO BE CAREFUL.

  • You can park on one of the side streets (like Tunis) and walk in. There are a number of entry points into the thicket with paths along Fisher. Since this is on my way home from work, around 10-12 at night, I made a concerted effort for a few days to check this out. Never saw a soul. I might have been in the wrong place though...
