Rideau River-Hurdman
cruiser helps us out: a bush, along side the bike path near the Eastern part of the Rideau River.
Hit or miss area, with guys being less
obvious.
cruiser adds: from the Hurdman bus station - walk up and over the hill it brings you down to the main path, or if you took a bus to Hurdman station that went through/by Lees Station just walk back to the transitway bridge at the Rideau River which the bus went over and go down on the bike path and turn left - after the first set of benches on your left you will see the main path also on your left which runs all the way up to Riverside Drive, also the main path runs off of Riverside Drive across from Hincks Lane near the black metal barriers for those with vehicles you can park down on the side street off of Hincks Lane and walk over from there ~
- the main path divides the big bush from the small bush, trails run off the main path at various spots into the bushes
Walk or bike on Eastern Rideau River;
bike path south of Hurdman bus station.
Go south until you see paths leading
east into heavily forested area. - Hours:weekend afternoons(Noon-4pm) as guys are in and out of the bush through out the day with some weekday early evenings(4pm-6pm) being so-so
- Wheelchair Accessible:No
- Warnings:a lady, who is there now and than every Summer, you can't miss her, she is bird watching, she has binoculars hanging from her neck it would please me greatly though if just once I can see her lift up them bino's and look at some dang bird - in Spring families happy to get out there bikes tend to be at the bush biking the trails once they get bored with this they tend to move on plus with trees falling across the trails they may have trouble biking in there now - the odd straight person man/woman may walk a dog through at times but this is rare may happen once or twice a month - certain days a Chinese man and 2 women maybe there picking mushrooms also they are usually there after a rainfall collecting snails for some Chinese dish I am guessing - the main path which runs along side the bush from Riverside Drive to the bike path near the Rideau River is a service road for the NCC, so if you see a NCC truck driving down the main path, they are headed to the bike path to collect the garbage at the benches quite a few trucks mean the grass is being cut alongside the bike path or a tree has fallen across the bike path

Was there today.
Jogger with the white T-Shirt.
Walk the trails around 3:00 in the After noon,
In and out, Nothing not even a mouse.
Nice perfect trail to cruise though.

NCC "Junior Rangers" just in about a half hour ago walking along the trails. Watched them get back into their truck, drive back down the main dirt road and then veer off to check (from their truck) the bushes heading toward Smyth Rd.

Maybe if there was a adjacent parking lot, and its a shame both bushes the small one and the big one would be great for night play. But this bush has always been a afternoon / early evening spot sometimes late evening up to sundown. I took a bus over to Hurdman bus station from downtown, went up and over the hill into the bush. I hung there for half an hour just me and one of the foxes, mind you it was nice to look at when I took a break from reading my novel. I got to blow a nice young muscled ucut thick cocked dude who biked in. I never seen him before but hope to see him again there maybe next Summer as it seems outdoor action is winding down. Unless we get a good warm sunny Indian Summer.

@8pm, Big Brother 10 starts tonight, when the Tv portion of the show ends, the internet feeds start up so I won't be at the bush as much now. With my spare/free time - early mornings before and after my shower and when I get home shower and have dinner in the early/late evenings I will be watching Big Brother.YUP I ordered the 24/7 live feeds from real player - super pass again this year. On some weekend afternoons and nights, I will probably be watching when I have free time. But I hope to hook up with some of my regular tops on my eMeSeN and meet up at a small bush near my house. It ain't a cruising bush so no one is ever in there or around and no NCC patrols out of the blue. I have used it a few times last Summer in the afternoon - evening - night and late night so it is real convenient for me to walk over there. Okay off to watch BB10
