Goat Island Beach
Goat Island has three beaches on its often deserted shores. Park your vehicle in the large parking lot in the Malaekahana Bay Recreation Area, walk through the shaded picnic area to mile long sandy beach. Immediately off-shore is Goat Island. You can wade over to the island but paddling on a surf board or inflatable is much easier.
Mokuauia Island, known as Goat Island is located just off Malaekahana Bay State Recreation Area. The turn off for the latter is half a mile past the entrance to the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie, on the right.
