Shikellamy Overlook
This cliff top park overlooks the confluence
of two branches of the Susquehanna River.
There are old-fashioned restrooms but
most, if not all, activity occurs out on the
trails. The latter are busiest weekdays
at lunch time and after work. Weekends
can be good, except for holidays when
families flood the park.
The park is a half mile south of Northumberland,
on Route 11.
