It's the city park with lots of cruising by all types and ages, from me to cowboys, to businessmen! Best way to cruise is by sitting in your car or drive through the park or park in the lot by the nature trail that goes down into the trees and along the river. There are paths that one can go off onto if you hook up with someone, that are very secluded.

Off of interstate 80, go north through town about three miles and it's on at the edge of town, along the North Platte river.

  • Warnings:Cops do drive though sometimes and not all that friendly.
    Warnings: There was some entrapement that went on about three years ago but, nothing since.

  • What time does it get busy there? I have been there several times in the past months and there is nothing there but mosquitoes. Would like to find a good time in N. Platte when I come through sometime next week.
