Lower Thaquamenon Fall State Park- Campground

South from the Mighty Mac, head North And Take Newberry exit which will be M123. Stay on 123 and head North. Cross M28 to head to Paadise, or turn left at M28 heading towards Newberry, ( bigger town than Paradise)turn right on M123 and follw 32 miles till you come to the Entrance to the Lower Falls. You will pass the entrance to the Upper Falls 4 miles prior to that and you might want to stop there to check out the scenery. Very pretty falls. I have even had 2 encounters there also.

• Cruising Info/ Tips:Make eye contact, be pleasant and not pushy. A lot of tourists here; be careful and descrete. Take it up the trail and into woods. Only enter woods where there is not a boardwalk or stairs, they do not want anyone disturbing the virgin forests.
  Cruisiest Spots: Viewing areas, restrooms, trail between the 2 falls.
• Nudity / Policy:Noooo. Maybe late at night, if you like to feed the mosquitos, go for it.
  Policy: Not in the open, take it to the woods or your own camper.
• Wheelchair Accessible:Yes / Paved trails to most viewing spots, wooden boadwalks, and stairs in certain spots.
• Warnings:Just be polite and don't get pushy.
  City folks tend to be a bit more nervous up here in the woods.
  Warnings: There are Park Rangers about, so use some common sense. Toll booths close at 6 p.m., so won't cost tot go in to the parking area.
