Well, actually, mostly frequented by guys over 55. Overwhelmingly white with a smattering of Asians. Blacks and latins are rare -- those pics are of sauna staff or models. I guess mgmt wants to suggest the plance is young, hip and flavorful ... NOT! Very tired, has-been atmosphere. Staff can be very unfriendly.

frequent the place.

What a wonderful place this can be when you connect with the right guy. I had a very memorable time this afternoon with a great man that I met in the steam. Very memorable ... everything I wanted and that I went there for.

News flash! This place has a steam room? I thought NYC didn't allow steam rooms or saunas in city bathhouses.

Can someone with real information tell me where in New York can you go to meet older black men over 50 years old on a regular basis? It seems everytime I go to NY, I always spot a fine older black man walking up and down the street like I did yesterday before and after I left the ESC. It's a shame that I don't see those same fine black daddies in the ESC. I've only hooked up with a few hot older black men at the ESC since I first went there a few years ago. So if anyone knows where I can meet decent looking older black men on a regular basis, PLEASE let me know. It'll be greatly appreciated.

can not believe cruise is featuring this dump as a hot cruising spot. East Side Club is beyond horrible. the government of New York City will not allow a decent bathhouse to exist, period. If you go to the east Side Club you will find a tiny sauna and a tiny steam bath and small shower facilities that practically drip water, no decent public rooms, and loads of lonely old men in the dark private rooms on there backs or stomachs. Absolutely do not waste your time or money on any NYC bathhouse especially here.

I kinda have to agree with previous comments about this place, it's bloody AWFUL! Out of all the bathouses/saunas I've been to in the world, this is without doubt the worst one! Filthy as well! Any tourists/out of towners reading this - save your money and head to an Adult Video Store instead! Less hassle and cheaper as well! Have fun!

New York has a gay scene probably as exciting at Kabul.....what a disgrace for a USA city. 2 lowly saunas where you'd think u were in syria being watched by secret police waiting for you to do something wrong. argh.

I was there for the 3rd time in the last year and while I had some hot fun I came away once again with a nasty case of pubic LICE. This place is infested. I won't be going back..EVER.

Are you kidding me? Maybe if the staff was a more friendly and accommodating they would attract more guests. Maybe if they got new towels instead of the cheap ripped ones hanging together by threads. Maybe if they actually put soap in the soap dispensers, or fixed the plumbing so you got hot water.

I have always had a great time at the East Side Suana. As a member you get a private room and just leave your door open, show a little and viola the fun begins. I have enjoyed many really well hung men there and nice group action ..watching and being watched. Never been disappointed and most men are versatile and very motivated. Can't beat this place!!!!!!!!!!!
