A decreped shell of it former self, Northern Sauna has become as bad as Mt Morris. First came the fire in the mid 90's (which took out the second Fl), then Giuliani forced the sauna to close leaving little else but to cruise. There are distractions like the TV rooms, gym & table, but everybody knows what the came for.
Crowd: Mixed croud of senior citizens, latinos, asians & many trolls.

Take #7 train to Main St. Walk up Main to Northern Cross & turn right/ make first left at Farrington walk up past 35th. Its on the Right side small sign on bldg that looks like a warehouse.

  • I accompanied a friend here last night; my first visit to this famed Queens sauna. I was not impressed. As you may know from previous listings, the sauna is closed and I didn't dare shower there. The place is not very clean and not well maintained. Although inexpensive to visit, it was definitely not worth the journey from Manhattan.

  • There's a duplicate entry for this place under Flushing. It is still open, and I personally think it's great though many people here would disagree.

  • There is no steam room at this place. Its closed. Been closed since the late 90s.
