A sleek, stylish bar lounge that looks more Chelsea than uptown. Great DJs and music mixes, everything from house to reggaeton although not a dance club but that doesn't stop some from trying. Mostly a late night hangout for friends, so it may be a challenge to socialize if you go on your own. However, as it gets later and the drinks flow, customers become looser and more engaging. Overall, a nice crowd with little attitude. This is the only alternative bar in this neighborhood hence its popularity.
Crowd: Mostly young, uptown, Washington Heights and Bronx hipsters plenty of Dominican and Puerto Rican hotties. Also other Hispanic, black and white, you will all feel welcome here.

- Hours:Open every day 5pm - 4am.
Happy hour 5pm - 10pm daily.
Best times: Late night on weekends, after midnight. Saturday night is packed until closing.
Tuesday nights are 2 for 1 drinks all night long.
- Cruising Info/ Tips:Stay at the bar or roam about. The place gets very crowded so you're bound to bump into someone and chat them up. Pencils and contact cards conveniently provided.
Cruisiest Spots: Lavatory has urinals in a hidden corner, with no dividers, prime territory. Bar staff hardly ever check it. Commode stalls have opaque glass doors, so forget them.

- The bar's a round configuration encourages eye contact and conversation.
- Wheelchair Accessible:Yes / Fully accessible, single-level, lavatory/commodes are ADA-compliant.
- Warnings:No cover, but pricey drinks make up for that, averaging $7 each, costly, considering that this place is way uptown. The exception is 2 for 1 Tuesdays and happy hour.
The bar's name reflects the local street parking is nearly impossible to find (unless you are patient and willing to scout around). You may have to use pay parking in the adjacent garages.
Warnings: Although not terrible, this is not the most hospitable neighborhood at night. The nearby bus station can attract its share of seedy characters. Park or walk only a short distance from the bar, and you should be OK.

(You have to be logged in) Add CommentThis bar is not a cruising place. I'm very attractive and I get play elsewhere, but at No Parking, the guys that go there either have very short hair or bald, they don't look Dominican and they're extremely conceited. They don't look at any men around them. If No Parking was really a cruising spot, I would be there much more often. Oh, and they do check for state I.D. and they run your I.D. through a computerized machine to get in. Where else other than Dyckman & Riverside, Fort Tyron Park, across the street from the police station (170th & Edgcome ave) and no parking are the gay and attractive Dominican pretty boyz other than myself at?????

I live 15 blocks south, and see nothing enticing about the place. I prefer men 50 +, not boys....and have heard of id hassles atthe door...I don't carry a full walet &pasport up to clubs in Washington Heights or anywhere!
