Empire State Building

This skyscraper was completed in 1931 and rises 1,250 feet above the ground for a total of 102 floors. Until 1954 it was the highest structure in the world. It took less than two years to build, which was unheard of at that time. Something which can't be overlooked is it's lighting system at the very top. Their colors are based on an annual schedule which takes into consideration special events.
