Small country park. Outhouse includes and toilet.

Neighbourhood: 67380 County Rd. 29

1 mile east of State Road 15 on County Road 29, north at County Road 142. Take S.R. 15 north, out of New Paris, going toward Goshen. Turn east on C.R. 142. Follow that road until it comes to a 3-way intersection. Right at that intersection is half of the park with public restrooms. If you turn left at the intersection. you will find the remainder of the park on the right side of the road, about 1/4 mile down. There is a long foot path that goes back toward a damn. Very private area.
  • Hours:Anytime of day, but afternoons are best.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:If cars are in the parking lot, enter restroom and either sit on the toilet or go to the until someone else comes in.

  • Sorry, I listed the wrong County Road. Baintertown is actually at the 3-way corner of County Roads 42, 142 & 25. The outhouses were remodeled this summer and have seemed to scare people away. The Benton River Preserve Park on County Road 127 between CR 44 & 46 has been better, but it's also been slow this year.

  • Tried to find this park. Folowed cty. Rd. 46, both ways out of New Paris. Only thing I found was a small park just down from the speedway that closes at 4pm. Can anyone tell me how to find this Park?
