Crowd: Truckers... with the new laws a lot of Mexican trucks are getting loads north from the SD area. A lot of the Mexican drivers like to get a 'chupa' before or after crossing the border.

Truckers... with the new laws a lot of Mexican trucks are getting loads north from the SD area. A lot of the Mexican drivers like to get a 'chupa' before or after crossing the border.

Get off I-5 at either Mile of Cars or Civic Center and go west toward the Bay. Either street turns into Tidelands...go to the 2200 block - it's on both sides of the street.
Cross street: 19th Street/Tidelands Ave
  • Crowd:Truckers... with the new laws a lot of Mexican trucks are getting loads north from the SD area. A lot of the Mexican drivers like to get a 'chupa' before or after crossing the border.
  • Hours:Open every day of the year, 24hrs.
    Best times: 9 pm to 6 am seem to be the best, BUT... as with any place it can be hit or miss.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:look for a truck with the lights on in the cab and no one in the cab....knock on the driver side door.... if it opens... ask if he'd like some company.. amigo...ole!
    Cruisiest Spots: In the parking area behind the fuel islands.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Noisy
    Warnings: Some professional lot.lizzards(hookers) cycle through here and get police presence, but it is not a big problem.
