Skaggs Island Base

Coming from Napa: Take S. 29 - e. 12/121 - Left @ Duhig Rd. - Follow rd. straight for 2-3 miles - Right @ Skaggs Island Rd. - Drive slow cause road is really bad - Your there when you hit the bridge.

cruiser add 11/24/2008: From Napa, it's a left turn on Skaggs Island Rd. Not well marked. There is a locked gate across the parking lot at the bridge so can't use the parking lot unless you have a key to the lock. Was there during the day and several cars with boat trailers and guys flying model airplanes at model airport there. Went over the bridge and wound up at the "gate' for the old Skaggs Island Naval Facility. Looks like a farm station and someone working on farm equipment.

• Cruising Info/ Tips:When you get to the bridge you can either go to the right and park in the parking spot OR you can go over the bridge and follow that road to the end where there is a big gate. no one will find you there.

• Warnings:Road conditions are very very bad.
