There is some cruising during the day at this beach, but it is shared with families and fishermen. At night there are only fellow cruisers. To my knowledge there are no police patrols.

City, past the Port and over the bridge
on the Neuse River. The park is on the
immediate left.

  • Be very careful. Cops have been there every day this week just hanging out in their cars.

  • WARNING! Police are patroling park more frequently, since new handicap ramp has been put in.

  • A better area to cruise is to the right after you cross bridge - Radio Island Park. Lots of action is trails near beach. Also cruising in cars in parking lot. Be discrete!
