Is This Your Business?

It's a beach of pebbles and small polished rocks on the Saint Lawrence River side of the Saint Lawrence RIver bike path. Beautiful view of Montreal Island, Downtown and Mount Royal across the river.
Crowd: Mainly guys, for nude sunbathing, between the ice bridge and Favreau Point. Some people south (upriver, turning left) of Favreau Point at times. Watch out for the occasional non-nudist explorers.

Neighbourhood: Saint Lawrence Seaway Bikepath.

Who's Coming

Mainly guys, for nude sunbathing, between the ice bridge and Favreau Point. Some people south (upriver, turning left) of Favreau Point at times. Watch out for the occasional non-nudist explorers.

Take the bike path on Ile Notre-Dame to the seaway, passing underneath Victoria bridge. Continue south (upriver/ Montreal "east") along the seaway bikepath past Champlain bridge and the ice bridge. (Alternatively, take the path along the ice bridge from Nuns' Island.) There is a pebble beach on the Saint Lawrence River side that is widest in the summer, when the river levels are lower. The best way down to the beach is either to follow the trail down just after the ice bridge, or the one about 2-2.5 km further down at the memorial to Jean Pierre Favreau. Otherwise, between the two spots, you have to scrabble down a rocky slope through trees and underbrush.
Cross street: Champlain bridge & Ice bridge.
  • Crowd:Mainly guys, for nude sunbathing, between the ice bridge and Favreau Point. Some people south (upriver, turning left) of Favreau Point at times. Watch out for the occasional non-nudist explorers.
  • Hours:Summer months in the daytime are best.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Get nude, show interest in the other nude guys, if you like the look of them of course!
Cruisiest Spots: Between the ice bridge and Favreau Point; most people tend to congregate at the northern end closer to the ice bridge.
  • Nudity / Policy:Yes / People go there to sunbathe nude instead ofgoing to Oka. Since the seaway is less easy to get to by car or public transit, nearly everyone gets there by bike.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:There are occasional police patrols in pairs riding mountain bikes.
