Parking Club

Crowd: OK, alterative venue for Monterrey on a Wednesday evening, apparently much busier on Fridays and Saturdays.***br***The club 'Parking' is a 3 level club catering for a young (20-35) fashionable crowd in downtown Monterrey.***br***Ground floor plays mediocre house/techno and is mostly populated by emaciated fashionista's, their female company and the odd gym body strutting around topless, with a mezzanine balcony and semi-secluded make out area.***br******br***Level 2 is packed with 'regular' Latin guys and the odd out-of-place Texan partying to bad Latin pop and even worse 90's disco.***br******br***A 3rd level balcony overlooks the dance floor an outdoor terrace provides a quieter area for talking/socialising.***br******br***Pretty cruisy throughout, but if you are look for quick and easy action, hangout in the ground floor bathroom (at the back, through the chain drapes) which were packed with 'straight' guys between 1 and 2 am and everyone prepared to drop to their knees from 3.***br******br***There are better places to go in life, but on a Wednesday night in Monterrey, I suspect this is the best on offer unless you venture to San Pedro.
