Go past the Shriner hospital, through the stopsign.go South as they're passing the hospital on their left hand side to then pass the stop sign.
You'll come to the border of Mpls. and St Paul. There is a metal staircase in a retaining wall. Go down the staircase. There is a landing and also another staircase. Go down that staircase to trails.

  • Hours:Weekends: daytime and evening. Weekdays: later afternoon to 10 pm.

  • Warnings:Watch out for parking regulations along River Road East, do as the signs say. Also watch out for occasional police checks -- they've been known to entrap.

  • I'm trying to figure out exactly where the nude beach is at. I can find the green building at the bottom of the staircase, but from there, where do you go? To the left is just a path with picnic tables and to the right it's just rocky trails. Maybe i didn't walk far enough up the right side. Help me out if you can.

  • Was there today between 4:30 and 5:30 this afternoon. I didn't see anyone but realy enjoyed the veiw of the river and watching the geese.
