cruiser update 3/4/2009: Anyone who has been to this place will know that the average age range is not 25-50. This is a venue for much older men. Some patrons are fine but some are very predatory and the place often has only a few people. There is no stated closing time and it sometimes closes around 8pm. There is no cleaning of any facilities during opening hours and it can get putrid. The lack of security at the entrance is also a worry. If you go in cooler weather take a jumper.

Free and lube in most rooms, 1 useless , 1 large group room with bed in centre. The owner has adorned the walls with all kinds of interesting pictures and ornaments - from tasteful paintings to a photo of Kenny Rogers (yes, its true). The furniture looks like it has been collected from a variety of second hand stores. Plastic flowers and beaded curtains. I think I even saw a doiley on a side table. While it can feel a bit like you are visiting your grandmas house, the here is good so just close your eyes and think of england as they say. Entry is $15.

cruiser Adds:The owner sometimes decides he wants to go to bed so if there are not many there he chases everyone out early (sometimes like 8pm).
Warnings: There is NO danger of bashings. The sauna's are not illegal in Victoria and there is no danger of police entrapment as cops can now be sacked from the department for such actions.

cruiser Adds:The stairs are VERY steep. The wet sauna has wooden seats, and it is NOT recommended to sit on the benches without a towel under you (this advice from a guy who installs steam rooms).
