This beach draws about fifty nude users weekdays and three times as many weekends in warmer months. The beach isolated with no concessions so bring refreshment. Getting to Martha's Vineyard and travelling about once there requires a little research. An excellent source of info is www.mvol.com where you can information about ferry service, bus schedules, and much more.

Located on the extreme SW corner of Martha's Vineyard. The latter is a large island located off southern coast of Massachusetts, accessed by ferry only. From ferry docks on island's northern coast drive 19 miles southwest to Moshup Beach and park a bit south of lighthouse ($15/day). A ten minute walk to the main beach(clothed) turn right (north) and walk until you see nude bodies.

  • Nudity / Policy:Yes / Gay Head Beach (a.k.a. Moshup Beach) is freely clothing optional, with no hassles from authorities.

  • If you are going for a relaxed vacation, it's well worth it. If you are looking to meet guys and get off, then don't bother. not much going on.

  • Traveling to the vineyard is such a hassle. This place sounds really nice though, much more laid back than P-town. Has anyone actully been there and is it worth the extra hassle it takes to get there?
