US-131 Northbound Rest Area

ATTENTION Member: tootight4you. Please clear up the confusion on Manton Listing for cruising (post).
If I am not mistaken the Manton listing has ALWAYS and ONLY ever refered to the State Road Side Park, North of Manton and on the North East area of the Manistee river and Hwy. 131 (north and south)?? It is also just south of M-113.
It was revamp sometime around 2005.
For those who are vacationing or traveling though. Take note this posting for "cruising" Manton, Michigan
The listing states it is 1 mile south of Cadillac and it is actually appox. 15 miles north of Cadillac and around 4 miles north of Manton, as well as 1 or 2 miles south of M-113.

about 4 miles north of manton, there is a road side park on the manistee river, down on the boat launch area is a good criusy spot, pretty much all day, around 4 is the best time, watch out for canoers, and fishermen.

manton? this is cadillac, south of cadillac, like 4 miles, its a veiwing rest area with fiberglass rest rooms, and yes theres some slow action at times, its located on the southbound side of 131, theres also a rest area 1 mile south of cadillac, on the northbound side of 131
