Thieves Wood by Nomanshill Wood

At the Traffic Lights on the A60 at Ravenshead (5miles South of Mansfield) turn onto the B6020 (Signed Kirkby-in-Ashfield) then in half a mile turn RIGHT onto the B6139 (Signed Sutton-in-Ashfield) then the entrance to Thieves Wood is half a mile on the LEFT. (Ignore the car park quarter of a mile on the RIGHT as it is mainly walkers and families in the daytime)

ALSO - the name Thieveswood is misleading. There are two cruising sites with entrances off the road almost immediately opposite each other - both are technically "nomanshil woods"
Thieveswood as such is well away from the main road and somewhat beyond the area which is cruised.- as the map link shows.

• Cruising Info/ Tips:Just go in and enjoy. Stand by a tree with yer out and before too long some guy will come and it for you.
  Cruisiest Spots: Anywhere in the wood away from the road. The best part for Cruising in the daytime is to walk to the bottom of the woods into the small fir tree area where there is plenty of cover.
