A404 Maidenhead Thicket Lay-By

From M4 go along the A404 (J8/9), pass the Reading(A4), pass the Henly (A4130)and at next parking area, pull in. This is it! Can't really tell from the mapping, but between the M40 and M4 on the A404 there is just one traffic island. The layby is just before this going northbound from the M4. It is just after an exit (I think signposted to Henley). The layby runs alongside the road (you need to pull in off the carriageway), so you can't miss it. If you get to the island you have gone too far, but can backtrack and turn around at the next exit. Walk around the pathway that is behind the bushes and explore the woodland

• Wheelchair Accessible:No / if u are a wheelchair user and are used to getting about on it, u will be able to get about there accept of a few places of not being able to reach them cause having path ways made by guys over the years walking down the side of a fence and the trees and bushes are an obstruction. u can get about apart from the mud and bushes getting all over u and can get u'r for arms cut from the thorns ect so where long sleeved tops.
