Take I-64 West. take the Grinstead Drive exit, which is immediately after the "tunnel". This is Exit Number-8. Take a left onto Grinstead Drive at the end of the exit ramp. This takes you back underneath I-64. Get into the left turning lane at the light, which is about 250 meters from the exit ramp. Cherokee Park is directly in front of you. This left-turn puts you on Lexington Road; you cross back under I-64, and there is an entrance to the Park about 100 meters on the right.

  • Hours:7 am - 11 pm
    Best times: at dusk
    Dates open: 7 am - 11 pm
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Park your car, roll down the window and hang out. Or throw down a blanket close to the road.
    Cruisiest Spots: By the bathrooms, in " Valley"-- officially, the Frisbee Field
  • Nudity / Policy:I've been flashed before though
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:The bicylce cops have a tendency to pull over vehicles at the park's one stop sign.

  • Yes, cops are still going there, and other parks too. If you want a meet up with one, drop your pants and show it hard. They'll quickly show you their badge AND cuffs.

  • I was out on the scenic loop today and saw a couple of cuties...but I haven't really explored out there a whole lot...where are good place to meet up at out there? I would love to try that sometime very soon
