Go south on Route 235 from Lexington Park, left on Forest Park Road toward NAS Gate 3. Then make a right onto Long Lane into Cedar Cove. The entry to the beach is about a mile on the left.

- Cruising Info/ Tips:Private beach in Chesapeake Bay community. The gate has a bar that is never locked. Just be cool and no one cares. Family-type of beach but is not used a lot during the week. Woods are right on the beach and it's normally quite private on the north end -- the end farthest from the parking lot and near NAS Pax River. Just hang out on the boardwalk near the parking lot and look for guys out for their 'evening walk', normally from 5 to 7 pm. Cruisers also hang out at the north end of the beach near NAS and the jetty.
