Virgin Active Gym Holloway Road

This is a Virgin Active gym that used to be a Holmes Place, so like any gym you need membership, I think if you are a full member you can use this one freely. It is very clean and can get quite busy after work. The best part is that it has a suana and steam room in the male changing room opposite the showers. As there is no swimming pool you do not normally get families here either. You have to be careful as it is mainly used by straight Arsenal Fans, but thats what makes it so great as some of them are actually up for a spot of mutual wanking and sucking.

The gym is not close to a tube station, it is either a walk down Holloway Road from Archway Station or a walk up the road from Holloway Road tube station. The parking on the street is free apart from between 12:00pm and 14:00 week days, but the gym also has parking available. The gym is located just up from the Odeon Cinema on Holloway Road

- Hours:The gym is open from Mon-Thur 6.45am-10.30pm; Fri 6.45am-9.30pm; Sat&Sun 9am-6pm. I have been there after work or at the weekends there are loads of regulars who I am sure would be shocked if they knew what went on here, but you can pick them out straight away and just make sure you avoid them. They don't normally use the saunas or steam rooms either, like most Virgin Active Gyms you can go in there with or without the towel and just watch the eyes, you will soon pick up on who is there for some action.
- Cruising Info/ Tips:I think this is really a place for a quick one, sticking around will probably get you noticed, the changing rooms are the cruisiest areas and most of the guys up for a bit of fun get changed near the shower room area. The mix of men is between straight, curious and gay. Once you are done, you can shower and clean up and leave.
- Nudity / Policy:As it is a changing room you can walk around quite freely naked, but most men tend to wear a towel. Some even wear shorts into the steam room / sauna. The showers are all cubicles with frosted glass. Full on is risky as you don't normally see people coming to the steam room or sauna until they are opening the door, but that does add a little extra excitement to it. The toilets have large full door cubicles, so if you do fancy finishing off what you started I am sure you can as long as you are decreet.
- Wheelchair Accessible:No / I think the gym has a lift as it is on a couple of floors with the changing rooms being on the ground floor.
- Warnings:There is a cleaner who walks through the changing rooms, but just does his cleaning and leaves. Like I said before this is more a straight gym, and finding someone to have fun with is about looking for them rather than everyone being up for it. The mix of people also look quite tough, so you probably don't want to try it on with the wrong sort, but there is enough fun going on here to make it worth the visit.
