Westlake Park (Queens Point)

Just N. of the HWY 35 bridge that crosses Lake Lewisville. 35 N. to the 1st exit after you cross the lake. Vier off to the right onto Denton Dr. Go to the stop sign, (Main St) and go right. Take this road to Westlake Park. You should see signs. You will have to pay to get into the park, $1.00. Once in the park stay on the main road. You will see a sign saying Queens Point. It is down at the end of a gravel road. Park in the lot and proceed down a path to the left of the lot, not straight ahead.
Cross street: 35 and Denton Dr

• Crowd:All sorts of people go. Boats can get there by water. Some lay out in the nude.

• Hours:I think the park opens at 7am and closes at 10pm.
  Best times: Lunch time, weekends and sometimes at 5pm. Summer is a lot more active than winter. But still some action there.
  Dates open: Open all year.
• Cruising Info/ Tips:Just walk around. If the go into the tree area you know they are looking for soem fun. Have never seen anyone patrole this area.
  Cruisiest Spots: There are all sorts of trails in the area. A hamock is hanging in a set of trees. The shore line is where boats pull up and guys lay out.
• Nudity / Policy:Yes / You will see guys walking around in the nude. Of couse this is in warmer weather.
• Wheelchair Accessible:No
• Warnings:Straight people who at times, not that offten come to fish in that are and leave their trash.
  Warnings: This place was hot many years ago and drew way to much attention so it was raided. Now it has calm down again and no one seems to bother anyone there. Do watch out for the water patrole. They never come close by but I do see them out in the water at times at a distance.
