This is a beautiful rest area/ parking area right on the river. It has many trails and many spots to cruise and have that is hidden. During the day it seems that there are always cars there.
Crowd: Men 20's-50's. Also Saw a Married couple there looking for 3 ways. Some Cuties and Some Trolls.

Neighbourhood: North of Lafayette and South of Brookston on SR 43

From I-65 exit onto Indiana State Road 43 South. Follow south about 2 miles. Soliders Home will be on the right and the rest park on the left(east side of road).
Cross street: South of Old Soldiers Home Road and directly across the street from the Soldiers Home
  • Crowd:Men 20's-50's. Also Saw a Married couple there looking for 3 ways. Some Cuties and Some Trolls.
  • Hours:Dawn to Dusk.
    Best times: Lunch time was awesome when I was there.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Just say Hi and they will respond.
    Cruisiest Spots: Northern parking area drive goes between bushes and takes you to a hidden area. There are many trails and guys hang out back there.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:The parking lot needs to be paved. It is full of chuck holes.
    Warnings: This was my first visit but I have passed this park many times and there never seems to be any problems with the cops.

  • Was there Wednesday 10/10/07...a couple of heavy guys were parked at the south end and an older guy was walking around. I talked to him for a few, but he wasn't my type.

  • They arrested 6 guys in Kokomo a couple of weeks ago. Generally when they do a bust one place they move to surrounding areas. Be careful you dont want your name and pic broadcast all over the local news.
