From the parking area there is a steep climb down to the beach. The path requires some caution as it can be slippery. The path follows the fence to a horse pasture - horse biscuits are optional. The beach is vast and has a lovely waterfall at its center. There doesn't seem to be a specific area which is gay.
Crowd: Surfers, nudists and gays.

Driving northwest on Highway 56, past mile marker 23, turn right onto Kahiliwai Road. Turn right on the second dirt road you pass and follow it to an area where there are parked cars.

  • Nudity / Policy:Yes / Nudity is illegal, but no ones seems to worry at Secret Beach.

  • Well the "Secret" is out because I went to this beach and although it was beautiful, there were a ton of people, mostly straight tourists. The beach is huge and picturesque, but as a cruising spot I'd rate this pretty low because of all of the people. And they weren't nude but mostly wearing khaki shorts and hawaiian shirts.
