Where is the place to go now? Erotic City was such a great place! Terrible loss to all of us.

Someone tell the owners of EC to open a place in Garden City, Kansas. Several convenience stores just outside the city limts that would be a great place to open such a business. With Highways 50 and 83 that cross here- and tons of truck traffic- the place wold make a mint!

Hey FilthyMcNasty I would highly disagree with your post. Liberal politicians are forced to support all this phoney moral BS against sexuality because so many of the conservative bible thumpers whine to the media and their conservative base and drag the rest of society into following their agenda.

There is still a way around this "constant harrasment" busts going on here. All they have to do is close for remodeling,install booths with gloryholes and maybe even a private theater. Instead of the "stripper" bullshit that was going on upstairs,forget that idea. Then,they can reopen as a private membership club,requiring a membership fee upfront to gain access. Prospective members must submit a photo I.D. as proof that they are of legal age to enter. Then the general public cannot file a complaint as long as the members sign that they will abide by the private club rules. Anything at all can go on behind private club walls,as long as people who do not want company are left alone,no problem. Don't take my word for it,check it out. Lot's of Adult Bookstores have done this quite successfully. Only drawback is that Stores will have a limited number of mebers until the word gets out. Simple,legal,effective!

Any news/hope? Where are the lawyers arguing for freedom of assebly and the right to pursue happiness?

E.C. is high on the hit list, correct, but there is still some hope. Columbia has a couple of places with permanent glory holes as do a couple of other cities. and they may just be able to get it back open with at least a number of preview booths with doors that close. One can hope.

We were just talking about EC the other day. Wondering where everyone has moved to. I guessed they where just staying home with their computers.

guys. I hate to be the bad guy here, but EC will never be like it used to. There will never be permanent glory holes, so the cruising will be sub-par.

Go out there, make some new ones somewhere, and report them here. EC was only good because of some lines on a map allowing them to be in a legal dead zone. that is no longer the case. it will be high on the county's hit list for a long, long time.

I miss it, too. But, it is gone for good.

I'm no expert on the local laws, but I believe (I could be wrong) the way these places avoid the law -- even in places like Chicago and New York -- is by making them a "club" accessible only by buying a membership. Once the business is technically a private club, public ordinances become moot. I've gotta wonder if E.C. tried to go this route. Otherwise the rabid idiots running the county will never allow anything to go on there again.
