Peaceful freeway barbecue location in between Alto and Rusk on US-69. Northbound as well as Southbound parking lot, however, the Northbound side is more conducive to travelling. There is little exposure from the roadway, and you can step back behind the barbecue tables through routes via the woods that offer great cover.

It can be hit or miss most of the times
but late night seems to be desolate.

5.6 mi North of the four way stop in Alto. 5.4 mi South of the 343 intersection in Rusk after a u-turn at 241.

- Guys either sit in their cars or at one of the picnic tables. The view from the highway of the third picnic table is well blocked by trees and a hill, so at night there aren't any disturbances there unless someone pulls into the picnic area.
