From Asheville, NC take i-40 West to mile marker 7. Check under the overpass first and then proceed up the hill on the dirt road where there are several spots to stop and take in the nature.
Cross street: I-40 exit 7

    Best times: Weekends.
    Dates open: Year round on any pretty day.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Avoid obvious campers and/or horseback riders. Max Patch is close by and worth a visit but it's not a hot spot for . When you find someone you like try going off one of the side roads for privacy.
    Cruisiest Spots: There are several parking lots and turnarounds check them all but back at the first fork in the road (where you head off to Max Patch).
  • Nudity / Policy:Yes / A great place to go skinny dipping.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:It's a drive to get there and sucks if no one's around. But you will at least you get some fantastic scenery and a very cool drive.
    Warnings: Don't leave trash or cause it attracts wild animals.
