The park is on the Daimond Head end of Waikiki. It is large but most of the cruising happens in the grassy area just mountainside of the fountain. Travel down Kalakaua Avenue past the Aquarium to the fountain in the center medial strip. Cross into the park.
Cross street: Between Ave and Kalakaua Ave
  • Crowd:All sorts of guys. Best spot to hookup with discreet guys who have to and go.
  • Hours:After dark and about 8:30 -9:00 pm is when the cruisers come out.
    Best times: 9:00 - early morning. Earlier on weeknights.
    Dates open: every day
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Some police patrols. Do not park your car in the Diamond Head Tennis courts parking lot as that raises police suspicion.
    Cruisiest Spots: Under the large banyan tree, in the unlit tennis courts near the archery range.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Guys who smoke or use the cell phone in a heavy cruising spot.
    Warnings: Some police, but they don't usually get out of their cars. Sometimes there are police on their little ATVs driving through the park, though you can ususally hear them from a mile away (literally).

  • Hey nuderect, I think I know which showers you're talking about. They were actually in Ala Moana beach park. If I remember correctly, they were maybe 5 or 6 open showers along a wall with large flat benches across from the showers to place your things while you showered. And the room had no ceiling, just open to the sunny skies. Those are no longer there either. Although, the new shower rooms have 2 shower heads, but they're not as open as they used to be.
