State park with day usage facilities only. Tiny gravel parking area and privies with graffiti. There are lots of trails to take someone as soon as you fulfill them at the privies or car park.

Open 24 hours a day.The best times are during the late afternoon in the summer.

1. Head south on US-31 S 3.9 mi 2. Continue onto I-196 BUS W 2.9 mi 3. Merge onto I-196 S 3.3 mi 4. Take exit 41 toward Saugatuck/Douglas 0.4 mi 5. Turn right onto Co Rd 2/Holland St/Washington Rd 0.1 mi 6. Take the 2nd right onto 64th St 1.1 mi 7. Turn left onto 138th Ave 1.1 mi 8. Continue onto 66th St Destination will be on the left 453 ft.

  • Cruise the trails away from the lake.Cruisiest Spot: The best spot to cruise is the parking lot. Best trails are behind the Felt Mansion. Make a left before entering the state park, and park by the frisbee course. You are not required to have a state parking pass for this lot. Unmarked trails to the south and west are usually very private. They eventually meet up with the state park trails the closer you get to Lake Michigan.
