It is a wooded area which has foot paths, one foot path goes to some hides where people watch birds as the use the estuary.

From Manningtree: Follow B1352 through Mistley into Bradfield. At the Strangers Home public house, turn left onto Harwich Road (signposted Pamsey, Harwich). Continue on B1352, turn left to reserve car park at brown tourist board sign. From Wrabness: Follow Station Road, bear right onto Rectory Road. At crossroads turn left onto B1352, continue on B1352, turn left to reserve car park at brown tourist board sign. The car park has a height restriction barrier of 2 m. Alternative parking for larger vehicles is by the roadside 50 m west of the car park.

  • Hours:The site always closes at 7pm I went there middle of day and found it to be very quiet.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Lots of dog walkers and children with parent(s) about so discretion is advised
  • Nudity / Policy:Open area with many possibilities for quiet , make sure that you are not near footpaths and near next to road.
