Winding road to park setting, beautiful area, lots of trails. Very secluded road and parking area, definitely off the beaten path (no pun intended).
Crowd: Park area, general cruising.

From Toronto or Hamilton 403, exit #6 North, take Plains Road around to the Right, then Right on York, then Right on Old Guelph. From Hamilton city, take York across bridge, turn Left onto Old Guelph Road. Bottom of hill, past bridge.
Cross street: Old Guelph Road, #6 Highway, York Street
  • Crowd:Park area, general cruising.
  • Hours:Evening hours best, after 5pm.
    Best times: Never really busy there, but dusk or thereafter.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:From parking lot, observe guys in cars looking around (and nervous ;-). Or walk the park, usual tell-tale signs as you pass a guy.

  • The grounds are still a little muddy but there were a few opportunities last evening. Think I will go again, hope to meet the bald headed man with the double earrings to finish what we started.

  • coolboy from dundurn you go west along york blvd and after you cross the bridge to the 403 there is a road on your left going down to the arboretum that is old guelph road follow it down and around and you wil see the garden area and you are there

  • I'd love to go here.. but directions are vague.. York Rd is now closed (construction) Where EXACTLY do I go to get here from Dundurn and york Blvd???
