For years, this has been Guelph's premier hook-up washroom and still can be (we're talking since the 1970's!!!). This building is superior to the Johnson Hall location because of it's many points of entry (front door, side doors, elevator from other floors) and because it has a perfect blend of traffic and quiet. Upon entry to the bathroom there is a long counter of sinks, followed by an open ended foyer of urinals on either wall. Beyond is the area with three single s on the left hand side, one handicapped on the right side with another empty (no toilet etc) single beside it.

The Mckinnon building (or arts building) has a front door right across from the university library. This door puts you on the ground floor of the building (or basement). You will see a set of stairs leading upward - do not take these. Instead, continue on this ground floor passing the porter's booth and walking under the stairs. You will see a small lounge in this open concept area. Continue on through the set of double doors into a long hallway. The hallway takes a 90 degree turn to the left and then a ramp descends slightly to another set of double doors. As soon as you go through these doors you will see the men's bathroom to the immediate left.

  • Crowd:Students and some older fellows.
  • Hours:weekdays 9-930.
    weekends 9-530.
    Best times: Afternoons are busy with people using the bathroom during the week, but action can still be found. Generally between 4pm and 9pm (omitting the dinner hour) are the most popular hours during the week. Most of the action occurs from noon until 5pm on the weekends.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Tapping feet and eye contact seems to remain the most popular. The door makes a loud bang after someone enters.
    Cruisiest Spots: The basement washroom is the cruisiest, although action can be found at rare times in the washrooms directly above (1st through 3rd floors) accessed by the adjacent elevator or the stairwell. The urinals and s are equally used.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:Yes / There is a larger handicap in the bathroom that was recently put in.
  • Warnings:Please be discrete. Other people use this washroom for it's regular purpose. Many years ago there were problems with two elderly gentlemen losing their discretion and wagging their dicks in front of the non-interested folks.
