update 9/2/2008: no more buddy booths

This place is great for the discrete guy...there are a ton of booths TOTALLY secluded to play in., in addition to buddy booths.

  • I cant believe the change in this store. I wonder if the owners read any of these post? And I wonder if they realized that they just lost the majority of their business? What were they thinking? It is horrible now. No glory holes, no windows. no nothing. It was a stupid move on their part. I will take my 8 dollars elsewhere.

  • Agreed on the thumbs down review of the new setup. Used to go their solo and sometimes bring a female friend with me. She like the buddy booths too, and sometimes we'd invite one in with us if she liked what she saw. Are they trying to stop being a play spot and only be a place where people do go just to watch the movies? Seems so. They certainly accomplished that. Now if only Xanadu would stay clean and smoke free...

  • I hear that the new arcade design is the pits now and that no one is going here. I also heard that the one across town, Xanadu East on Bessemer Avenue, is now open 24 hours. Maybe that's where everyone is going now. Xanadu is in a rough part of town (after dark) but if what I hear about Fantasy Video is right, I won't be going back.

  • Yeah Guys It has taken a turn for the worst I dropped by and was shocked to see what had been done. That place has gone way down. Not sure what they were thinking when they redesigned the back. Im sure if the business drops off they will catch the hint. Im sure I not be going back there anytime soon

  • I agree completely. The renovation is a huge negative. This is DEFINITELY worse than it was before and no buddy booths and the screens and booths are smaller. I will not go back anytime soon.

  • DO NOT GO HERE ANYMORE....They have re-done the whole place, but it looks like they went back in time... they have smaller booths with number...then there is a metal chair in the booth.....there are NO BUDDY BOOTHS either. Then they have went up to $8. They said that the video screens are larger....It is a joke! I mean it really looks like they spent no money at all....looks like a downgrade. For a place that use to be interesting to go to it has took a turn for the worse and the business will def. go down.

  • The video arcade is getting ready to be completely overhauled with new booths, better monitors, etc. I hear they will be closed for a week to do this, but as of yet, no exact date to begin tearing te old booths out. Better check before you drive there to see if they're open.
