This is the crusiest place I've found in Granbury. I've met several really nice guys here. It is a beautiful park with a great view. It is safe & quiet.
Crowd: Mostly fishermen & campers 7 some families.

Neighbourhood: North of town

Go North from the town square on Houston st. which turns into Hwy.51 towards Weatherford about 3 miles. Turn Left into the Park on the first road after you cross the Lake Granbury bridge.

  • Hours:Not sure, but there is free overnight camping.
    Best times: Noon & early evening. Weekends may have lots of campers, boaters & families.

  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Park and watch for guys who are looking as they drive by. Get out and walk the trails to see who follows.
    Cruisiest Spots: Either the bathrooms or along the parking areas in front of the lake. On the east side there are wooded trails that are very private and cruisy.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Occasionally, there are Sheriff patrols or workers from the Brazos River Authority that come thru.
    Warnings: I don't know of any harassment that's happened. Since there are sometimes families out there you should be respectful of that.
