I went thru there today and there is no charge on weekdays. It was quiet, would love to have seen some action.

Actually the good news is that weekdays are free all summer, only on weekends do you have to pay to get in.

I drove thru there a little while ago. This is a big park, can someone give me directions as to where the best place is. Would really like to go there, love outdoor fun.

IndianTop--take the road through the park, past the lake. At the stop sign make a left and then a next left into the parking lot. Take the action into the woods or elsewhere.

No I dont. I tend to visit either Seneca State or Lakeforest Mall. Seneca State is more fun I think. I wish it was more active though especially before Spring when they will start charging entry again. Carderock and Turkey Run can be fun too.

for me its possible only on the weekend coz the park closes by the time i get back from work.

Checked out the park - only restroom was near the entrance - lots of families, etc. Checked out the back parking lot near the U turn - just a guy in a pick up truck - wish it were Cumguzzler2007!

Will be there again today...will run the lake and then chill in the back parking lot for a while.

you mean the dead end...where if u go there u have to turn into the parking lot to actually turn around? surround by trees...

I like to take the road to the end, then make a left and then your next left into the parking lot. The other parking you are talking about is used by the players for whatever game they have going on there, thats why the cars were empty.

And whats the best spot to go. I always make that left and pass the park on the right....and follow that all the way back to the back parking lots.........but i never see anyone. I even tried going to that big parking lot in the back once u cross that bridge like this....all the cars were empty..........

Hey PLB, 4 3 0 maybe pushing it....they close at 4.45 and they start the Lighting festival....it may be too busy, and that front lot will have a lot of cars near there.
