Go East from Austin on Highway 71 about three miles passed the airport. Ross Rd. goes South toward Del Valle high school, and the park is North of the intersection. Follow the road to the right to get up the hill behind the sports fields. Capital Metro also uses the parking lot as a stop for route 271 going to ACC on Riverside.

- Most of the action seems to be on the hiking trails. Guys drive through in the afternoon that used to go to the rest area near Garfield.
