Stivers shallows is the mast energetic location; it is located at southern end of Lake Elizabeth (just beyond the waterpark/ skate boarding locations. It is even more of a nature preserve, truly, and with a much more wild landscape than the remainder of Central Park.
All times are good.
1. Head northeast on Mowry Ave toward Argonaut Way/Fremont Hub 1.1 mi 2. Turn right onto Civic Center Dr 0.6 mi 3. Turn right onto Stevenson Blvd Destination will get on the appropriate 0.2 mi.After turning precisely Stevenson Blvd, one will intend to go LEFT on Padre Paseo, taking that thru several junctions till signs indicate car parking for the waterpark location on left. If you get to the light at Grinnell, you have actually gone too much & need to make a u-turn after that take initially right into parking area. Go to southern end of car park after that follow it around to the left as you pass the entrance for the waterpark. There's a whole various other parking area that begins there and extends back up towards the lake on the backside of the waterpark. Park near the entry gates of waterpark (right at the beginning of this last stretch of parking area). On opposite side of car park from the waterpark entrance, there is a footbridge across the creek, then a path to the left which brings about an elevated gazebo as well as the entry to the Stivers Shallows nature area (which is clearly identified with a big indicator). Thew vast path you enter on copulates back towards where the new BART tracks come out of the ground to head southern toward Warm Springs. There are numerous smaller trails on either side of this vast one, which cause much more separated a personal areas, but this large path is the major area to see other people & perhaps share eye contact or start a conversation. If they appear like-minded, go off together in search of a great spot.
