After entering the park, follow the road until it ends at the river. Guys cruise from their parked cars and also out along the trails. Mid to late afternoons seem best.

  • I stop by the park a few times a week,it's on my way to work
    I have noticed latly that there is Fletcher cop car that checks it out
    He seems to be there at almost anytime, be it lunchtime, or after 4;00

    You would think with all the crime being committed in the area, taht the cops would have better things to do with their time, and my tax $$

  • I was here Saturday, cops came in taking tags numbers and also walking a round the park. Just be very careful.

  • AVL, thanks for that warning. I was going to check it out tomorrow. But if there are stings going on, that is not how I want to spend my time in NC...LOL

  • Was there this morning and to my suprize 2 Fletcher PD officers on foot came out of the trees, walked around the park and walked back to there cars on Fanning Bridge. Be very very careful cruising here

  • I've been in and out of there several times in the last month or so---almost always someone there and, and often four or five so I think its picking up! you can see any cars coming into park since they cut the trees down-so "they" can't sneek up on you as easily!

  • Police sting-op recently completed. The park is closed temp. Gonna cut down trees and open it up. The local sheriff's down on everything in Henderson Co.(as usual)
